Prime Focus Technologies (PFT), the technology arm of Prime Focus, the world’s largest media services powerhouse, has announced the appointment of Ankur Jain as VP sales for the South Asia region. Jain will lead business development and sales across segments like broadcast networks, government and service providers including strengthening of key account relationships.
“South Asia region and especially India is an important market for PFT and having Ankur onboard ensures that we further solidify and expand our presence in this market as we grow globally. His technology expertise and strong understanding of the South Asia and India markets is a perfect combination that augurs well both for our customers and business as we accelerate the industry wide adoption of our award winning hybrid cloud enabled CLEAR Media ERP suite”, said PFT founder and CEO Ramki Sankaranarayanan in a statement.

Ankur comes to PFT with more than 15 years in the IT industry where he has been successful in building the cloud business for various enterprise applications and developing the alliances ecosystem as a key business driver. Before joining PFT, Ankur was with Oracle Corporation India as head of its enterprise business unit. His earlier roles were with SAP and Satyam leading their sales across markets like India, US and Europe. Ankur is an alumni of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) and XLRI, and has a B.E degree from University of Mumbai.
