Chennai based smackall.com, the applications and porting division of Technology Solutions provider Blitz, is in the midst of developing hi end mobile multiplayer games.

The games currently under production at the studio include, ‘Staggy’ (working title) A character based game themed around “Stag knight” (Action movie yet to be release by a UK based film maker). The game play is woven around the main character in the film. It is more like an RPG game, where the gamer takes control of the hero and fights with the enemies.

The second project that is being worked on is a collection of global multiplayer card games which can be played via a GPRS connection. These games are being developed for a Jordan based company for whom Smackall is also developing a game server for the multiplayer version. This collection consists of classical 2 player board and card games.

A global multiplayer game server for mobile phones which is similar to the concept of SNAP technology of NOKIA is also currently under development.

The last game on the list of projects that are underway is a mobile poker game where players can bid. This game is also a global and massively multiplayer game where many players have the option of joining a single game from different parts of the world

We also have a separate porting team for porting mobile games and applications to over 250 devices. Our games are available through leading networks such as Airtel, Hutch, BPL and Spice Telecom.”
